The dream of the Arizona Peace Trail was first started collectively by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) way back in July 2013. With 1000’s of miles of old mining roads, open desert, dirt roads and off road tracks, the idea of combining them was a no-brainier. With the growing insurgence of motorized off-highway recreation in the area, both agencies believed that by creating a connector trail between Bullhead City, AZ in the North and Yuma, AZ in the South, it brings off road awareness, eco responsibility and safety to all involved. This union brings a looped area of nearly 750 miles, to dirt bikers, ATV’ers, UTV’ers, Jeep and 4 wheeler enthusiasts from around the world. Today the Arizona Peace Trail is the ultimate Off-Road adventure through it’s use of the Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) trail system.
